A Water Recycling System To Beat The Drought

Governor Brown of California recently declared a drought emergency and new water regulations are on the way. Price increases and voluntary compliance are just the beginning. The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission is planning on a 300 percent increase in the cost of water by 2018 as well as other regulations to decrease water use by commercial users (drycleaners, laundries and coin laundries).

To beat these regulations, Dutch Girl Drycleaners of Walnut Creek, California, installed a zNano 240 gallon per hour water reuse system for their two 60-lb. washers. The system, which uses technology validated in collaboration with NASA Ames to sustain astronauts on the manned mission to Mars is able to produce water quality exceeding both tap water quality and California’s reuse standards. The zNano system has reduced water usage in excess of 80% at Dutch Girl, according to Adrian Brozell, PhD and zNano CEO.

Dutch Girl, in cooperation with the California Cleaners Association, (CCA), United Cleaners Supply, and CRDN of the Greater Bay Area will host an open house to demonstrate the state-of-the-art water recycling system on May 31st and June 1st from noon to 5:30 p.m. at Dutch Girl Cleaners, 2094 Mt. Diablo Blvd., Walnut Creek, CA, 94596.

Steven Depper, President of Dutch Girl Drycleaners, stated, “Using the zNano water recycling system shows our long-standing concern for the environment and supports the community’s desire to use businesses that reflect their values.”

Come to the open house to speak with Steven and Dr. Adrian Brozell, and learn more about this revolutionary line of products.
