In honor of October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month, The Green Garmento has teamed up with two charities to donate proceeds from wholesale and retail online orders.
In addition to offering a 20% discount to consumers who donate $1.00 to “Keep-a-Breast” and “I Go Pink” when ordering online.The female owned business is also offering portions of proceeds on their new “Pink Ribbon Bags” custom wholesale orders.
When asked recently why this was so important to her, CEO Jennie Nigrosh answered, “There are too many stories to share; too many lives lost and thankfully, saved, to squeeze into 400 words. So instead, I will share my gratitude that early detection saved my sister and is hopefully going to save my dear friend, currently undergoing treatment. I’m going to ask everyone who’s reading this to get a mammogram or tell someone they love to get one. I believe that a pink ribbon – weather on a garment bag, a t-shirt or insta feed could very possibly save a life. Wherever your pink ribbon is, please wear it proudly and support Breast Cancer Awareness!”
