THE ONE THING I TRY TO DO ON A DAILY BASIS IS…

Play with my kids; a 7-year-old boy and a 5-year-old girl, my partners in crime.

MY FAVORITE QUOTE IS…

“You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.” – Wayne Gretzky

I AM CURRENTLY READING…

How to Make a House a Home. Written in 1922, it’s 62 pages long and a very quick read. The way it’s written is unique.

THE BOOK THAT HAS HAD THE

BIGGEST IMPACT ON MY LIFE IS…

Lord of The Flies. Not so much the book but the teacher that taught the class was amazing.

MY DEFINITION OF SUCCESS IS…

Setting a goal and achieving it, then setting another one.

THE BEST MOVIE I HAVE EVER

SEEN IS…

Technically, I’m not supposed to talk about it.

MY MORNING ROUTINE IS…

Wake up early, stop at our smaller plant to check-in and be at the main store when it opens. I love the calm in the morning before the first customers come in.

I AVOID DISTRACTIONS BY…

Turning on music or ambient noise. I find if I can distract my subconscious, I can focus on the task at hand.

I OVERCOME ADVERSITY BY…

Taking something positive from every situation, using those tough lessons to my advantage in the future.

THE MOST IMPORTANT LIFE LESSON I HAVE LEARNED IS…

Do your best, no matter what it is, from meaningless tasks to interpersonal relationships. As long as you’re doing the best you can, that’s all you can do.

THE BEST CAREER ADVICE I EVER RECEIVED IS…

If you’re not striving to do better, you’re just trying not to do worse.

MY NUMBER ONE SMARTPHONE APP IS…

Trello. I often find myself jumping from task to task and thought to thought. Trello helps me keep everything together; from work tasks, honey-do lists and long term goal planning.

WHEN I RELAX, I LIKE TO…

Spend time at our remote cabin or go camping. We also like to bring our dirt bikes and four-wheelers. Basically, anything to get out of town for the weekend.

IN 5 YEARS, I HOPE TO BE…

The owner of our family business, the dad my kids can count on and the husband that my wonderful wife deserves.

I AM WORKING TOWARD THAT 5-YEAR GOAL BY…

Making the most of every day. I try to learn something new every day, whether it’s business-related or personal growth.

MY SOURCE OF INSPIRATION IS…

My family. From a young age, I have been surrounded by hard workers and go-getters. The goal-oriented mentality has helped a lot.

I WORK TO IMPROVE MYSELF BY…

Asking myself if this is the best person I can be, taking those areas that need improvement and consciously working to be better a little at a time.

I NEVER LEAVE THE HOUSE WITHOUT…

My phone and airpods. Also, in the summer it’s best to have something to protect yourself against bears.

A PODCAST I RECOMMEND IS…

Morbid or Crime Junkies. Especially for long car rides, True Crime is great.

SOMETHING EVERYONE SHOULD TRY AT LEAST ONCE IS…

An Escape Room!

I HANDLE DISAPPOINTMENT BY…

Thinking about what I personally could have done different and using that knowledge next time.

WHEN I WAS YOUNGER, I WANTED TO BE…

The guy that rode on the back of trash trucks and hucked the trash in. Thought it would be fun to get to hang off the back.

A GO-TO BAND OR MUSICAL ARTIST ON MY PLAYLIST IS…

The Killers.

MY “SUPERPOWER” IS….

My 7 year old son says I’m super-fast and can fly. My 5 year old daughter says I’m the Flash. Personally, I think interpersonal relationships and talking are my superpower. I really enjoy getting to the second level with people and having a conversation that means something.
