Partners Attend Renewal Claim Solutions Meeting In Florida

Renewal Claim Solutions, formerly North American Restoration Dry Cleaners (aka NARD) recently held an informational meeting in Sebring, Florida, at one of their partner plants.

Partners from across the county attended.

The meeting included a plant tour of Griffin’s Cleaners, a third generation, family-owned retail and textile restoration facility.

RENEWAL of Central Florida (Griffin’s Cleaners) works with insurance companies and mitigation contractors to help restore soft contents after fires and other natural disasters. The recent hurricane left Griffin’s with an enormous backlog of work.

Ray Griffin and his two sons showcased their recently installed Metalprogetti assembly conveyor, which, with proper tagging and software, can take the place of up to two workers in a standard production plant.

Kermit Engh from Methods for Management spoke in a classroom setting about his business management services available to the cleaning industry, as well as succession planning for those intending on transitioning their business to the next generation.

Lisa Morantz of Morantz Ultrasonics and her husband also attended and gave a presentation and demonstration on the latest ultrasonic cleaning methods and equipment available to the restoration industry.

Morantz Ultrasonic equipment can be used for certain textiles, delicate fabrics and hard surface blinds, electronic equipment and a variety of difficult items to clean that are encountered in the operation of a professional restoration business.

The three-day event gave partners a chance to see other vertical services they may add to their existing businesses, discuss many best practice topics and talk about issues affecting the industry…as well as escape the COLD for a while!

Renewal Claim Solutions is a partnership of elite, independently owned dry cleaning and laundry businesses across the country that work together to leverage their national footprint.
The Partners collaborate in establishing industry standards and refining best practices, that are then employed in servicing the insurance industry and their customers.
