Slow Times Ahead

DLI’s July Offerings Aim to Help Cleaners Maintain Steady Income

Professional drycleaning and laundry operators in the northern hemisphere are watching hopelessly as business slows to a crawl during the historically-slow summer months. Dave Coyle of Maverick Drycleaners will share some ideas on how cleaners can bring in more ice cream sundae money for their teams July 19 with Subscriptions: The Key to Thrive During the Slow Summer Months. The hour-long virtual program, hosted by The Drycleaning & Laundry Institute, is free to all members, as are dozens of webinar recordings, including 22 more featuring Dave Coyle.

Bringing the drycleaning and laundry community together, DLI hosts weekly coffee-and-shop-talk meetings every Tuesday on Zoom so members can discuss what’s happening and keep each other from going crazy. In addition, DLI offers its world-class drycleaning course in July and August.
