When six associations collaborated on a textile care trade show in 1977, they may not have imagined that 40 years later the World Educational Congress for Laundry and Drycleaning (the Clean Show) would be the world’s premier exposition for the industry.
Clean 2017 celebrates its 40th anniversary in Las Vegas June 5th – 8th. It is “Where the Industry Comes Together” to see the working equipment and products of exhibitors offering everything the industry has to offer, learn from 30 hours of education and network with their industry colleagues.
“This is a true milestone for the Clean Show,” said Mary Scalco, Clean 2017 chairman and CEO of Drycleaning and Laundry Institute. “The show has grown over the years to become one of the country’s top 100 trade shows. Clean 2017 exhibit sales already are ahead of each of the last four shows and registration also is up for the same time period at previous shows. Las Vegas is always a fun place to visit too.”
As of February 19th the number of exhibiting companies was 408 filling 214,006 square feet of exhibit space.
Those planning to attend Clean 2017 can register online at www.cleanshow.com. Members of any of the five sponsoring associations can register for $119 per person. The non-member rate is $149. After May 31st all registration is at the show only and the fee $169.
Hotel reservations at several Las Vegas hotels where Clean has arranged for special rates and amenities can be made on the website or by phone through the show’s only official housing service: Connections Housing. Attendees should be cautious about unauthorized people offering hotels who claim to be from the Clean Show.
Now five associations sponsor the Clean Show: Association for Linen Management, Coin Laundry Association, Drycleaning & Laundry Institute, Textile Care Allied Trades Association and Textile Rental Services Association of America.
