Washex of California hosted its 2nd Open House at Bryan’s Cleaners in Pasadena, California demonstrating the Harmony Cleaning System by Yamamoto. A large crowd was in attendance to see the Harmony System once again work its “magic.” This open house focused on the ease of use in processing specialty items such as Leather and Wedding dresses. Attendees were able to see both of these products processed in the Harmony System.
Mark Sanders of Washex California went into detail about the very low cost of operation as well as the numerous rebates and grants customers could potentially be eligible for with both AQMD and the Air Resources Board. The average load of between 25 – 35 pieces costs between $4.00 and $5.00 which includes the Maestro additive, electricity, water and steam. The grant program initiated by SCAQMD & ARB can help pay for more than 50% of the cost of a New Harmony System.
Yamamoto Vice President of Sales Graeme Fuller, spoke to the group about the tremendous growth the Harmony Cleaning System has already undergone, “To date, our sales with the Harmony System are up 300% nationwide since last year! Customers are realizing the enormous flexibility that the Harmony System creates both in speeding up production and at the same time allowing cleaners to process specialty items they previously had to send to a third party.”
Bryan’s Cleaners Owner, Scott Bell spoke to attendees about the 14 minute wash time and the simplicity in using just the one Maestro additive. In addition, he showed the group how the purchase of two 50-lb. gas dryers with humidity control has allowed him to push even more production through his Harmony Cleaning System by transferring finished wash loads to these dryers. Scott went on to highlight the importance of the Yamamoto Washer/Dryer Combo machines stellar service record. “We have had this machine for 18 months, running it 6 days a week and averaging 10 loads per day…with all that, it has not missed one day of production!” Scott Bell will be touring the Yamamoto Manufacturing Plant later this fall in Onimichi, Japan as a guest of the owner, Mr. Yamamoto.
