Best in Class and Overall Winner in the International Competition in Milan Italy

After an inspiring day of 46 pitches in three categories of Industrial Textile Services, Retail Textile Cleaning, Small; and Retail Textile Cleaning, Big. Jan’s Professional Dry Cleaners was awarded the Global Best Practices Awards 2022, presented by CINET, for demonstrating an accelerated innovation in the Professional Textile Care industry. Inspiring showcases for colleagues in a growing industry worldwide.
The winners of Best Performing Companies Worldwide, as selected by an independent international jury:
• Category Retail Textile Cleaner -Small: Jan’s Professional Cleaners (USA)
• Category RTC-Big: Oxwash (UK)
• Category Industrial Textile Services: Lavans bv (NL)
Especially in these difficult times, facing an upcoming (mild) recession almost worldwide, innovative initiatives provided confidence that the industry indeed has a great potential for further growth in all countries worldwide. Transformations in business models, implementation of measures for improved sustainability, good examples of Human Resource Management, were presented by many participating Official Nominees. However, it became clear that these great market opportunities also require proactive NEW initiatives of Entrepreneurs. Jan’s Cleaners was one of the winners in this category as well.
The International Global Best Practices Awards Jury based the evaluation of the finalist companies upon the following criteria Quality, Sustainability, Business model and Service concept, Innovation and personalized presentations of the company. After the points from the international Global Best Practices Awards 22 Jury were counted, the scores showed that Jan’s Cleaners was the overall winner for the United States of America.
This was a great way to celebrate Jan’s Cleaners 40th Anniversary year long celebration.
