Platinum Dry Cleaners Hosts Dry Cleaning Spotting Seminar

Platinum Dry Cleaners, a Naples, Florida based full service dry clean and laundry operation with 3 retail locations, 5 delivery vehicles, a 12,000 sq. ft. processing facility and 40 employees hosted a “Spotting” Seminar continuing its education to stay current with quality trends in the dry clean and wet cleaning industry on December 3, 2019 at their Naples, Florida Corporate Headquarters.

Platinum hosted GarmentAnalysis.com’s Dan Eisen to advise the latest advanced technique in spotting as well as enzyme bath, bleach bath, issues with problem bleeder garments, mechanical and mineral baths, as well as a lunch and learn for those in attendance.

Eisen’s experiences and wealth of knowledge extend from positions as Assistant Director of The New York School of Dry Cleaning, teaching and lecturing at both The Fashion Institute of Technology and Marymount College. He was also the Chief Garment Analyst for The National Cleaning Association from 1968 to 2001 and was one of the founders of The East Coast School of Dry Cleaning as well as a consultant for The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, The Brooklyn Museum and The Elliott Museum in Florida. He has been featured in publications like The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and Newsday; appeared on David Letterman and CNN.
