Deal expands SPOT’s portfolio of software solutions serving companies in the dry-cleaning industry and creates additional synergies.
Dry cleaning solution provider SPOT Business Systems has acquired
Fabricare Systems, LLC, an Acworth, Georgia-based provider of the Fabricare Manager software solution,
as well as hardware solutions, to dry cleaners and laundries. Fabricare Systems will become part of SPOT
Business Systems. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Fabricare and SPOT employees will form a combined team and focus on providing full technical support and
services for both the SPOT and Fabricare software solutions. The two solutions will operate under one roof,
and the newly combined team will focus on customer-centric approach, scalability, flexibility, customizability,
and ease of use.
Fabricare’s leadership team has agreed to serve in an advisory capacity for a limited period following the
acquisition, and SPOT is committed to providing a smooth transition for Fabricare employees.

SPOT announced the move as the latest example of its effort to grow market share in the dry-cleaning
segment. The addition of Fabricare and emerging innovative products such as Connect will help SPOT
expand its current market-leading position as a provider of software solutions to the dry-cleaning
industry.
